In order to focus on classroom education and teaching, constantly improve the teaching quality of teachers and promote the improvement of teachers' quality and teaching quality, under the overall arrangement and meticulous organization of the Junior High School Division, Anqing Foreign Language School's Junior High School Division of the east campus has carried out mutual learning activities such as 'open the classroom doors to attend lectures' and 'knock on the door to learn', which were jointly participated by the teaching and research group leaders and lesson preparation group leaders of each grade who walked into the classrooms, getting close to students to understand teachers’ authentic classroom teaching.
As the saying goes, ‘only by learning can we know our shortcomings, only by teaching others can we know what we don't understand and only by knowing the inadequacy of our studies can we reflect on ourselves.’ Therefore, teachers should prepare every lesson meticulously. When we open the door to a lecture, it seems that what we open is the door of the classroom, however, in fact what we understand is the teacher's heart.
In conclusion, opening the door of the classroom to attend lectures is not only a significant starting point to understand the learning situation and teaching situation, but also one of the important measures to reinforce the effectiveness of classroom teaching and improve the quality of teaching. Thus, our school will continue to carry out mutual learning activity as a regular teaching activity, actively building efficient classrooms, and comprehensively enhancing teaching quality.
